Convenient, affordable online medical care

AmWell company overview

Amwell is a convenient clinical care service for common conditions that is available 24 x 7 x 365 through internet enabled computers or mobile (Android/iOS) devices. You can access care in the convenience of your home at any time of the day or night and on weekends and holidays. In addition, your condition can be treated at a lower cost compared to urgent care, the doctor’s office, or emergency rooms.

What is online medical care?

AmWell is medicine built for the way you live today. It's a simple, affordable service that lets you see a provider whenever, however, wherever you want to online or by mobile app. All doctors are local– licensed in your state of residence and the service is as secure as an in-office visit.

Your visit is scheduled for 10 minutes—the amount of time needed to handle most medical issues. Of course you can add more time should you need to. Once you're connected, your doctor can review your history, answer your questions and at their discretion diagnose, treat and even prescribe medication. If you receive a prescription, we'll send it straight to your pharmacy.

When are AmWell doctors available?

Online Care Group doctors staff AmWell 24/7 in states where they are licensed.

When should I seek medical services in person?

In the event of a life-threatening condition, shortness of breath or chest pains, you should seek immediate medical attention at an emergency room or dial 911. Furthermore, any type of blood work or lab work will need to be done at a medical facility.
